Totally Magical with ALL the Vibes

Sophia’s senior session was seriously so much fun! We packed so much into one afternoon, and somehow every spot felt more magical than the last. This session had everything—iconic Richmond, VA locations, dreamy fall light, and a personal touch that made it truly unforgettable for Sophia’s senior pictures.

We kicked things off at Hollywood Cemetery, and trust me—it’s WAY cooler than it sounds! It’s one of the most unique places to take senior pictures of its beautiful historic charm, tree-lined paths, and sweeping views of the James River. The fall light was absolutely glowing, and Sophia looked stunning at every turn. This little spot we found really unique and adds quite a bit of mystery in each session.

Next stop Libby Hill Park, one of the best places in Richmond to catch an epic sunset. Also, hands down my favorite fall spot for high school senior pictures! As the light softened, the whole park lit up in golden hues, creating the dreamiest glow around Sophia. The Richmond skyline in the background made it even better! We captured a mix of natural, candid moments and posed portraits that felt super relaxed and full of life.

And seriously, I can’t forget the other MVP of the session—Sophia’s aunt Amanda! Not only is Amanda my go-to hair and makeup artist, but she’s also the best hype woman ever. She worked her magic with Sophia’s hair and makeup, making her look and feel like a total queen. Plus, Amanda kept us laughing the entire time, adding so much energy and fun to the session.

After all the golden-hour magic, we headed back to my studio for something super personal and unique. Sophia is an incredibly talented artist, so we turned the studio session into a celebration of her creativity by featuring her artwork as the backdrop. I loved how her personality and passion for art came through in every shot. It’s these kinds of personal details that make senior sessions truly special!

Sophia, you’re the real deal girlfriend—beautiful, creative, and totally one of a kind. Thanks for bringing your whole heart (and your art!) to this session. And a HUGE thanks to Amanda for helping us make it all so amazing!
