In our studio we help you prep in advance with a thorough guide, offer hair and make up tips or assistant with our make up artist. At your session you will not feel rushed and not only do you get amazing one on one time in our studio, you get to see and choose your images at your session! This way we guarantee you leave LOVING your senior formal portrait and will be proud to see it in your yearbook!

It is my job to make sure you know exactly what to do and how to pose to make you look and feel natural, beautiful and confident. I don't want you to ever look too posed and I will help make sure you look and feel relaxed. And I will make sure the locations we pick for your photos work with your personality and style so the entire photo from the pose to the backdrop look and feel like you.

I am not one to say I am “The best senior experience in Richmond” every photographer is different and I believe there is the perfect photographer for everyone, not just one photographer in our town can be the best..we all have our own unique way..

I know adding another event to your calendar this year can feel overwhelming! I know this is important and I am here to help you find the perfect day and time, the perfect location for YOU! Not all locations fit every senior. I have worked hard and created a lot of resources to help you prep and I will be there to help you and your parents every step of the way! I always check in with all my seniors to find out how their experience was and what I could do to make it better! I always take feedback to make sure each year we are growing and creating an experience that makes you feel comfortable, confident and pictures you LOVE! We used Kat for my daughter’s senior photo shoot and it truly was an amazing experience. 01. HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?
The earlier the better! My calendar books up months in advance. If you would like a fall session, contact me in the summer and if you want a spring session we can book in summer or as late as winter if my calendar allows.

02. WHAT DO I WEAR?
Don't worry! I am here to help! I send every client a 100 page what to wear guide! I also have a color specialist in my office that you can book if you need more help with choosing the right colors for you!

03. WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON THE DAY OF MY SHOOT?
Rain, rain go away! Rain is no fun on a senior session! I will watch the weather the day of your session, keep in contact with you and make the best decision for your shoot prior to meeting for hair and makeup. We may need to reschedule but we will get your shoot done!

04. WHEN DO PHOTO SHOOTS TAKE PLACE?
I schedule shoots on available weekdays. All shoots take place in the afternoon/evening to achieve the best possible light. On occasion and based on certain locations, morning sessions are available.

05. DO YOU YOU ALSO OFFER FAMILY SESSIONS?
I specialize in seniors but love to photograph families of my seniors! I also have been known to photograph many of senior’s weddings (many years later, of course!)

07. HOW MUCH DOES A SESSION COST?
There are three different session types ranging in price. In addition to the session fee, you will be able to purchase prints, products or digital images from your photo session. All pricing, collections and a la carte, will be sent to those that inquire about a session!
